60 years of MINI. To celebrate, there's nothing better than a "road trip" through Europe

Anonim

Between the 8th and 11th of August, the English city of Bristol will host the already traditional International Mini Meeting (IMM), an event dedicated to the brand's fans that this year will be dedicated to the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the birth of the little British icon.

To mark this occasion, MINI Classic (the brand's classic division) decided to organize a road trip from Greece to England, which is also a tribute to Alec Issigonis, the “father” of MINI, who had Greek origins, British and German.

Two models prepared by MINI Classic will take part in this road trip for MINI. One is a classic MINI convertible while the other is a first-generation MINI Cooper developed by BMW. Common to both is the painting created by the artist CHEBA, and accompanying them on the trip will be a plug-in hybrid MINI Countryman Cooper SE.

The MINI Journey

MINI's road trip will depart Athens, Greece, on July 25th (that is, today) to Bristol, England, with arrival in the British city scheduled for August 8th, precisely when the International Mini Meeting (IMM) starts.
