In addition to the renewed Citroën C3, on his trip to Madrid, Guilherme Costa had the opportunity to meet another novelty of the Gallic brand: the Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid.
Citroën's first plug-in hybrid model, the C5 Aircross Hybrid is practically the same as its brothers that only have a combustion engine, with the news reserved for the mechanical chapter.
With a 1.6 PureTech of 180 hp that is associated with an electric motor of 80 kW (110 hp) the C5 Aircross Hybrid has 225 hp of maximum combined power and 320 Nm of torque, values that are sent to the front wheels through a eight-speed automatic transmission (ë-EAT8).
Powering the electric motor we have a lithium ion battery with a capacity of 13.2 kWh that allows travel more than 50 km in 100% electric mode (although as Guilherme tells us in the video these numbers are somewhat optimistic).
As for charging, it takes less than two hours on a 32 A WallBox (with the optional 7.4 kW charger); four hours on a 14A outlet with the standard 3.7kW charger and seven hours on an 8A domestic outlet.

Now available in Portugal from around 44 thousand euros , the C5 Aircross Hybrid appears as an especially appealing proposal for companies or individual entrepreneurs, benefiting from considerable tax benefits.
