Just 3 weeks away from the official presentation, unpublished images of the Mazda CX-4 appear completely uncovered.
The new Mazda CX-4, a model that reinforces the Japanese commitment to the crossover market, should integrate the same platform as the Mazda CX-5, and as such, both should share a large part of the components, including SKYACTIV technologies.
On the outside, as you would expect, the new crossover features similar lines to the Mazda Koeru Concept – in keeping with the Kodo design philosophy – with an emphasis on slightly more angled headlamps and more robust side mirrors. Inside, the new model incorporates components from both the CX-3 and the CX-5, while still having a familiar look.

According to Masamichi Kogai, CEO of Mazda, the new model offers more driving pleasure than other models in the CX range, with a version with the all-wheel drive system being available. Initially, the new Mazda CX-4 is to be produced and marketed only in China . The presentation is scheduled for the 14th edition of the Beijing Salon, which takes place between April 25th and May 4th.
