The new generation of the Peugeot 308 arrives in Portugal next month, with prices starting at 20 390 euros.

Based on the brand new EMP2 platform that was debuted on the Citroen C4 Picasso, Peugeot will begin marketing the new Peugeot 308 in Portugal next month. The range will have three equipment levels (Access, Active and Allure). The Access level (most basic) will have a simple radio with Bluetooth, USB and MP3 as standard, manual air conditioning and cruise control system.

In addition to the Access level, there is a Business Pack that adds rear parking aids to the equipment, light alloy wheels, electric rear windows and a Look Pack (handles and mirrors in body color) for 495 euros. At the intermediate level, Active, we can already enjoy the “star” of the Peugeot 308's cabin: the i-touch screen system with integrated navigation, among other gadgets that make up the new model's technological package.

At the top will be the Allure which will include, among other elements, 17-inch wheels, parking aids, prominent body moldings, more wraparound seats and an electric parking brake. Prices will start just above the psychological barrier of "twenty thousand".

The most basic version of the Peugeot 308 costs €20,390 and comes equipped with the new 82 hp 1.2 VTi gasoline engine, debuted on the Peugeot 208 and will soon be available with other power levels. The offer of gasoline engines continues with the 1.6 THP of 156 hp (only available in the Allure level) from 26,890 euros, but which is not expected to have great relevance in the national market.

Diesel options start at €23,100, in the case of the proven 92hp 1.6 HDi engine, and end with the 115hp 1.6 e-HDi version, with a purchase price of €24,200. A complete test of the new model is coming soon, here at RazãoAutomóvel.
