The final of the World Car Awards . One of the most coveted and prestigious awards in the automotive industry, which each year distinguishes the "best of the best" in the automotive industry worldwide. The most desired reward? The World Car of the Year 2020.
The jury, composed of more than 80 journalists, from 24 countries, chose from an initial list of 29 models, the Top 3 in the world. This, after a preliminary vote audited by KPMJ that reduced the initial list to just 10 models.
Unlike usual, this year the World Car Awards finalists were not announced at the Geneva Motor Show due to the cancellation of the Swiss event. The announcement was made online, through the digital platforms of the World Car Awards.
So let's meet the three finalists, in their different categories, starting with the most coveted distinction, the World Car of the Year 2020.

World Car Awards
For the 7th consecutive year, the World Car Awards (WCA) were considered the world's No. 1 automotive industry awards program, based on a market study carried out by Prime Research.
The journey to find the World Car of the Year began at the last Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2019.
This trip will end next April, at the New York Motor Show, where the winners of each category will finally be announced, and of course, the World Car of the Year 2020.
