Morgan has officially unveiled the most powerful Morgan Plus 4 ever! In this new version, there are 154 hp and 193 km/h of “hair in the wind”.
We had already talked about this new version of Morgan Plus 4 here, however, at the time, the details and specifications were minimal.
With few or almost no changes in terms of structure and exterior look, the novelties are mostly confined to the interior. Having been practically renovated, from a redesigned instrument panel, new indicators and improvements in terms of materials, the new version of Morgan Plus 4 thus receives a more «modern» touch.
These are small improvements, with a view to making the Morgan Plus 4 even more appealing to the «senses», however, it is in terms of motorization that the new version of the Morgan Plus 4 most impresses. The engine remains the same, a 2.0L Duratec four-cylinder, but the power has been increased by almost 10 hp, to 154 hp and 200 Nm. Not forgetting the reprogramming of the ECU, for greater acceleration capacity. The five-speed transmission, original Mazda, remains, as well as the total weight of 877 kg.
Still without performance values from Morgan, it is expected that this new version of the Morgan Plus 4 will complete the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in around 7.3 seconds and a top speed of over 190 km/h.
