A German is auctioning a very “special” Chevrolet Matiz V8 on E-Bay.
Almost all of us, at least once in our lives, have made fun of the little Chevrolet Matiz: "Crate", "jungle car", "trolley cart", "can". These are just some of the "nice" names that we usually give to this townsman. So let's go and swallow all those words in unison as we look at this Matiz with a 550hp Corvette V8 engine!
Produced by Fourdin Auto Sport, specialists in competition, this project crosses two opposite poles: an "American muscle" with a typically European city dweller, in a mix capable of achieving acceleration from 0-200km/h in less than 11 seconds and reaching a speed maximum of 260km/h.
This little townsman cut out to be as comfortable on a track as his brothers are in town can be yours, right now the bid on E-bay is still «only» at €43,000. Expensive but still far from the €250,000 the project cost in 2009, and much cheaper than a conventional Aston Martin Cygnet.
