In its "Full Extras" version, the Swedish SUV is equipped with a 2.0 l diesel engine with 190 hp and four-wheel drive. With this engine the Volvo XC40 fulfills 0-100 km/h in 7.9s and reaches 210 km/h.
The D4 version is only available with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
If you're not a big fan of diesel engines, you can opt for the Volvo XC40 T5. This 2.0 l petrol engine offers 247 hp of power, fulfills 0-100 km/h in just 6.5s and reaches 230 km/h of top speed. Not bad Volvo…
In terms of aesthetics, the most expensive version is the R-Design version — which is also, at the same time, the most expensive version. The bodywork takes on two tones, the grille is exclusive and the 18-inch wheels are bicolor. At the rear, the highlight goes to the two exhaust outlets.

Volvo XC40 D4 R-Design interior
We reached the list of options and clicked on all the extras. All! But being the R-Design version, the most striking elements are already standard. We're talking about the trim of the dashboard, the sports steering wheel and the leather-covered gearshift.
We highlight the pack Xenium R-Design (1894 euros) that adds a panoramic roof, electric seats, and two-zone air conditioning. It is worth it.
The best part of not having any restrictions on options is that the Volvo XC40 uses some of the best driving support technologies in the segment. We are talking about the automatic parking system, 360° camera, lane maintenance assistant, adaptive cruise control and blind spot warning.
Another important option for those who value a more immersive sound experience is the Business Pro pack (1476 euros), which offers the navigation system and a premium sound system from Harman Kardon.
In the end, the invoice corresponds to the level of equipment offered: 69,036 euros.
Too high a value?
