Can a remote control car be faster than a Formula 1?

Anonim

Whenever a Formula 1 car takes part in a drag race, it usually plays a leading role, even if there is a Bugatti Chiron on the other side. But when the opponent is a… remote control car, the story is different.

Yes, that's right, Carwow's Brits brought a Red Bull RB7 (winner of the 2011 Formula 1 world championship) and a small rocket, the ARRMA Limitless, face to face.

On paper, this “fight” may look uneven, as the RB7 is powered by a 2.4 V8 with 750 hp for just 650 kg. But maybe you want to rethink your answer...

DRAG RACE RED BULL F1 REMOTE CONTROLLED CAR

The ARRMA Limitless, whose price is around 1400 pounds (about 1635 euros), gives a whole new meaning to the term pocket rocket, as it advertises a maximum speed above 160 km/h as a standard!

We almost forget that in this epic drag race there is also a Honda NSX where it followed — in place of the hanger — the pilot of the small remote-controlled car, controlling everything from a distance. Despite being genuinely fast, the NSX was out of its jammed element between the David Coulthard F1 and the ARRMA Limitless.

We don't want to spoil the surprise and reveal right away who was the big winner. The best thing is to watch the video:
