The last Ferrari LaFerrari off Maranello's production lines broke all records in a US charity auction.
Initially, the production of just 499 Ferrari LaFerrari units was planned, the most evolved cavallino rampant of all time. The Ferrari LaFerrari #500 was up for auction this weekend at an event in Florida (USA), organized by RM Sotheby's. In just 10 minutes, the Italian sports car broke all expectations and was swept away by 7 million dollars , around 6,600,000 euros, a value 5 times higher than the original price and that makes this the most expensive car produced in the 21st century ever.
Compared to the standard LaFerrari, the LaFerrari #500 sports the Italian tricolor flag on the front and a nameplate on the interior, as well as white outlines along the body. The amount raised in this auction will be used for the reconstruction of areas affected by the earthquake.
