F8 N-Wide. Novitec adds 13 cm in width and almost 100 hp more to the Ferrari F8 Tribute

Anonim

The Ferrari F8 Tributo was the target of the attention of Novitec, the German preparer that tends to focus its attention, above all, on Italian car brands. The name of your latest creation? Ferrari F8 N-Wide.

Not that the numbers offered by F8 Tributo are not (very!) satisfying and interesting, but Novitec raised the bar even more, increasing its power and substantially modifying its look, naming it with the name "N-Largo" .

On the outside, the changes are clearly notable — virtually all body panels have been altered — highlighting the addition of large amounts of carbon fiber, a material that is present in virtually all panels.

The aggressive bodywork “kit” is signed by Vittorio Strosek, German designer, and himself the author of many preparations in the past, with his best-known creations having the Porsche 911 as a starting point.

In the case of the F8 N-Largo, the highlight goes to the additional width in relation to the already very wide F8 Tributo, justifying the chosen designation: it is 13 cm (!) wider than the production super sports car.

The differences from the F8 Tributo are extensive: new front and rear bumpers, new (and widened) mudguards and side skirts, new engine compartment and rear spoiler. The headlights also lost the small air intakes that were positioned above them, while on the side the mirrors with an unusual support stand out, as well as the application of carbon fiber to the door handles.

The wheels have also grown to better fill the additional space in the Novitec F8 N-Largo's new, widened fenders. The front ones are now 21″ (and 9.5″ wide), while the rear ones are 22″ (12″ wide), being wrapped with tires 255/30 R21 at the front and 335/25 R22 at the rear .

Finally, the “heart” V8…

It doesn't stop with appearances. The F8 N-Largo sees the power of the F8 Tributo's 4.0 twin-turbo V8 grow substantially. The original 720 hp “jumped” to a much more expressive 818 hp and its 770 Nm of torque to a much stronger 903 Nm of torque.

According to Novitec, these values allow the F8 N-Largo to reach 100 km/h in just 2.6s (2.9s stock), 200 km/h in 7.4s (7.9s stock), and that exceeds the 340 km/h maximum speed of the production model.
