The new 2013 Ford Mondeo is getting ready to enter the market looking better, more technological and safer than ever.
As you may have noticed, the new Mondeo presents itself with a different look, a look that was possibly inspired by Aston Martin models – as well as the Ford Fiesta. This spectacular car will be available in 3 variants, saloon (4 or 5 doors) and estate.
There was a lot of speculation surrounding the new Mondeo, as the Ford Fusion, produced exclusively for the US, had a very European design. And since the segment where it fits in Europe is the same as that of Mondeo, this connection was highly suspected (Fusion (USA) = Mondeo (EU)). But the few doubts that had already been dispelled: They really are the same!
The new Ford Mondeo will have a new soul, a new range of engines where the biggest news are the implementation of the 1.0 liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and a new engine with hybrid technology. This will be the brand's first hybrid car in Europe, and combines a specially developed 2.0 liter petrol engine with a 35kW lithium-ion battery. A diesel variant with all-wheel drive will also be available.
Some of the main features of the new Mondeo are the LED technology taillights and the inflatable seat belts, which reduce the possibility of injury to the chest area in the event of a collision. Also available is the MyFord Touch infotainment system with voice controls and an 8-inch color touchscreen with the ability to act as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five devices. Not bad, for a Ford…

The 2013 Ford Mondeo will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show later this month, and I don't know what you think of it, but one thing is certain: It’s sexy and I know it!
