What if the new Audi A1 had a van, an Allroad version and an RS1?

Entry model in the offer of the German premium brand Audi, the Audi A1 in this new generation it has only and only five-door bodywork, five seats and compact petrol engines. But… what if it wasn't like that?

At a time when the builder of the four rings has just unveiled another generation, based on the same MQB A0 platform used by the Volkswagen Polo and SEAT Ibiza, and which allowed the German model to grow in length, the well-known X-Tomi Design decided to create one family A1. Composed of a hatchback (A1 Sedan), a van (A1 Avant), an offroad variant (A1 Allroad), as well as two versions of sportier features: the RS1 and the RS1 Clubsport Quattro.

And if, in the case of the A1 Sedan, the A1 Avant and the A1 Allroad, its transition to production could find an explanation not only in logic, but also in the low conversion costs, since not even the offroad version would involve expensive technical solutions, but only an aesthetic kit, in the rest, the demands would necessarily have to be greater.

So, and in the case of the Audi RS1, the solution recommended by X-Tomi involves the application of a four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI, with a power of around 300 hp, transmitted to the four wheels, of at least 18 inches. And that could help the model to even rival the larger Audi S3.

As for the Audi RS1 Clubsport Quattro, it would be the re-edition of a proposal that was already part of the four-ring brand's offer and of which only 333 units were produced, between 2012 and 2013. And which, with an aesthetic inspired by the 80s, with the same white wheels, generously sized rear spoiler, and black and red bodywork inlays, would still have the same 2.0 TFSI as the S1 — or RS1! —, although debiting “only” 256 hp of power.

But that, unfortunately and at least for now, is nothing more than a mere Photoshop job…
