As a preview of Japfest, the festival organization launched a challenge to the followers of its Facebook page.
Without underestimating the solidity of German cars and the design of Italian cars, there is no doubt that over the years the “land of the rising sun” has produced some of the best models in the automobile industry, especially when it comes to sports cars. To choose the most emblematic Japanese sports car ever, the organization of the British festival Japfest asked its followers for help. The result couldn't be more enlightening…In first place in the survey, without any doubt, comes the Nissan Skyline, followed by the Toyota Supra and in third place the Subaru Impreza WRX. The Japfest, which takes place this year on the 24th of April, is the most important celebration of Japanese culture and car industry in Europe. The 2016 edition will take place not on the Castle Combe Circuit – due to space limitations – but on the Silverstone Circuit in the UK.
