Pagani Huayra Roadster BC. 800 hp and lots of carbon fiber

Anonim

Designated Huayra Roadster BC ("BC" is a tribute to Benny Caiola, Pagani's first customer) is the latest variant of the Italian hypersport and has several "extras" that help increase its exclusivity.

To start with, in total Pagani plans to produce only 40 units of the Huayra Roadster BC, each of which is expected to cost approximately three million euros, an amount that does not even include taxes!

With a removable carbon fiber roof, according to Pagani, the Huayra Roadster BC is 30 kg lighter than the original Roadster (it weighs just 1250 kg). This saving was achieved thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber and the use of “exotic” materials such as a mixture of carbon and titanium, or carbo-titanium, which is not only lighter but also more resistant.

All this power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission with only one clutch, which, according to Pagani, saved 30 kg compared to a dual-clutch gearbox.
