Fiat 500, 500X and 500L were renovated. What has changed?

Anonim

After having already renewed the Tipo and the Panda, Fiat turned to the successful “500 family” and renewed the ranges of the Fiat 500, 500X and 500L.

Unchanged in the aesthetic chapter, the three models saw this renovation bring them more technology, new colors and even new levels of equipment.

As far as the equipment levels are concerned, there are now four: Cult, Dolcevita (exclusive to the 500), Cross (available in the 500X and 500L) and the Sport. The objective of each one is, in addition to offering specific equipment, to give a “personality” to each of the models.

The “Cult” equipment level stands out for its eye-catching orange paintwork.

The different "personalities"

The Cult equipment level seeks to synthesize the “Pop” theme. For this, the new and exclusive “Orange Sicily” color debuts and inside it is presented with blue seats in a new fabric and a dashboard in a specific “Azul Techno” tone.

On the other hand, the Dolcevita equipment level, inspired by the 1950s model, has a dashboard frame in the color of the bodywork, 7" screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, chrome accents, glass roof (in the three doors) and wheels of 15".

The equipment level "Dolcevita" is only available on the 500.

As for the Cross level, on the 500X it features new seats, vinyl inserts, 19” wheels, roof bars and automatic air conditioning. On the 500L, this version features 16” wheels, fog lights, rear parking, light and rain sensors, and automatic air conditioning.

Fiat 500X Cross

The "Cross" level gives the 500X and 500L a more adventurous look.

Finally, in terms of Sport equipment, the objective was to give a more sporty look, highlighting the “Mate Gray” paint (optional) and the “Sport” logo. On the Fiat 500, it comes standard with 16” wheels, new seats, automatic air conditioning, a dashboard in Titanium color, 7” TFT screen and fog lights.

On the 500L Sport, on the other hand, we have 17” wheels, assistance with city braking, electrochromatic rearview mirror, specific interiors, tinted windows and ambient light. Finally, on the 500X this level of equipment offers 18” wheels (19” as an option) and the specific color “Fashion matte gray”.

Packs complete the equipment

As usual, it is possible to reinforce the offer of technology, safety, comfort and style equipment using optional packs.

The “Pack Magic Eye”, for the Cross level, offers parking sensors and a rear camera. The “Pack Navi” and “Pack ADAS” bring blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.

Fiat 500

The "Cult" level, just like the "Sport" is available on all three models.

As for the “Comfort Pack”, available on Cult, Cross and Sport, it includes automatic air conditioning and adjustable seats and the “Visibility Pack” brings Xenon headlights, electrochromatic rearview mirror and light and rain sensors. Finally, the “Full LED Pack” is also available.

And the engines?

As far as the engines are concerned, there is nothing new. The Fiat 500 features 70 hp Hybrid (1.0, three-cylinder, atmospheric and mild-hybrid) and 1.2 l engines with 69 hp at LPG, both Euro 6D-Final, for which orders will open in mid-February.

Fiat 500X Sport

The offer on the 500X, on the other hand, consists of two gasoline engines — one 1.0 Turbo with 120 hp and 1.3 Turbo with 150 hp – and two Diesel engines, a 1.3 Multijet with 95 hp and another 1.6 Multijet with 130 hp (10 hp more than before) .

As for the 500L, it is available with a 1.4 hp gasoline engine with 95 hp and a diesel 1.3 Multijet with 95 hp.

For now, the price of the Fiat 500, 500X and 500L range magazines have not yet been released.
