Few were the brands that did not take advantage of the entry in 2018 to publish a Happy New Year message to their fans and followers.

With more or less originality, the video format dominated the messages published by the various builders.

Some marked the events of the year that has just ended, while others focused on the future and what we can expect for 2018.

Audi : Despite rumors that the Audi R8 could have its days numbered, the Inglostadt brand starts the video with its super sports car, followed by the newly introduced Audi A7, passing by the brand's best-selling SUV. The acronym e-tron is also not forgotten in Audi's message, confirming that it will be part of the brand's future.

BMW : BMW's message is very brief, but to highlight the future, the new BMW 8 Series Concept could not be missing.

citron : The French brand announces its goal for the next 100 years in the new year message. Drive comfortably. In a minute the brand makes its way in general with some of its most striking models.

Ferrari : The cavalinho rampante brand celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2017. In the New Year's video published on social networks, the brand highlights this same achievement on a journey across five continents, over 100 cities, and thousands of people around the world, through the concentrations of the brand's mythical models. The video doesn't forget the victorious former brand pilot Michael Schumacher, and you can see the hashtag #keepfightingmichael.

Ford : At least original, the message of the oval brand, which puts the months of the year on the speedometer of one of its models with the redline in the month of December, reaching 2018. Despite reaching the redline, the brand suggests that there are no excessive speeds , with the speed hand not exceeding 120 km/h. Remember that it was at the end of 2017 that the first photos of the new Ford Focus appeared.

Mercedes-Benz : This one you must already know for sure, as Mercedes-Benz not only shared it on social media, but also made it a commercial spot on TV. Nine Mercedes-Benzes lined up on a circumference turn on the lights at each of the 12 strokes, forming the symbol of the Stuttgart brand.

MINI : The BMW group brand, which took advantage of 2017 for a renovation, with the presentation of a new logo, took advantage of the new year's message to launch a challenge to fans, customers and owners of the mythical model.

nissan : Another challenge this time posed by Nissan with the motto Sustainable Resolutions for 2018. With the second generation of the Leaf already available for order, and already registering 10,000 units ordered in Europe, of which 287 in Portugal are Nissan's advice, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repair.

Renault : Another builder who takes advantage of the New Year's message to tell his story. Renault says that it has built its history simply over the last 120 years and for a minute you can follow the evolution of the brand, focused on the future.

Peugeot : The Leão brand starts the video with its i-cockpit, available on the new 3008 and 5008. In addition to these, it is possible to see the Peugeot 308 and even the brand's participation in the Dakar, ending with a Happy New Year message in the various languages.

Skoda : Lots of fireworks is what you can see in Skoda's New Year's message where you can also see one of its recent models in the SUV segment. The Skoda Kodiaq launched during the year 2017 is lit up by firework.

Volkswagen : More fireworks, but this time seen through the panoramic sunroof of a German brand model. Another original moment.
