The numbers of the «supercars» of the World Rallycross

Power, a lot of power. The “supercar” category of the Rallycross World Championship has the merit of bringing together models derived from rally with “steroids in the turbo” and some of the best drivers in the history of the WRC – among other drivers who evolved in this discipline.

We are talking about Peter Solberg and Sebastien Loeb – nine times world rally champion. But there are more highlights: Ken Block, the American of the famous “gymkhanas” or Mathias Ekstrom and Timo Scheider, DTM drivers.

These names are joined by all-wheel drive cars, with 2.0 liter turbo engines of 600 hp, capable of fulfilling 0-100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds. Or in other words, all the ingredients for a memorable show.

These machines and drivers will face each other today at the Montalegre circuit, one of the most demanding and technical circuits in the championship. And after yesterday's training and qualifications, today is the day to "score".
