Smart says goodbye to the combustion engine with the Final Collector's Edition

At a time when it is preparing to become the “first manufacturer in the world to inflexibly transfer its entire portfolio of combustion engines to electric motors”, the smart decided to create a special limited edition to mark the end of the era of internal combustion at the brand.

Designated Final Collector’s Edition, this special series is limited to just 21 units. These examples will also mark the disappearance of the combustion engine from Smart's offer, presenting themselves as the last vehicles of the brand to use this type of engine.

Created by Smart together with industrial designer Konstantin Grcic, the Final Collector's Edition should start being produced in August together with Brabus, it is not yet known how much it will cost and in which markets it will be available.

21 years old, 21 copies

If you're wondering why Smart decided to limit the production of this special edition to just 21 copies, the reason is simple: each one corresponds to a year of the brand's existence.
