Brian Moore was an anonymous 1980s amateur rally driver like so many others. And like so many others, after the marriage and birth of his children, other priorities were imposed in the life of this Briton "petrolhead". Moore was forced to change the adrenaline of driving his Opel Astra GTE 2.0 8V Rally-car for the coziness of home.

However, despite the decision to drop the rallies, he chose not to sell the Opel Astra. He just left it in a "bath-in-marie" inside a "barn" at the back of his house, camouflaged among piles of firewood, loose garbage and memories of a lifetime. And that was how the poor Opel Astra stayed for years on end…

That's 20 years later to finally be saved by his eldest son, however a man. And what did any of us do with that: bring that old glory – still capable of putting out an interesting 180hp – back into action!
