Ford joins the Portuguese Red Cross in the fight against coronavirus

Following the examples of Hyundai Portugal, Toyota Portugal and Volkswagen, which have already joined the fight against the coronavirus, Ford ceded ten vehicles of its fleet to the Portuguese Red Cross.

The agreement signed between Ford Lusitana and the Portuguese Red Cross provides for the transfer of ten vehicles from its fleet during the period in which Portugal remains in a state of emergency.

The fleet of vehicles that Ford ceded to the Portuguese Red Cross consists of three Ford Puma Hybrids, one of the new Ford Kuga, three Ford Focus, a Ford Mondeo, a Ford Galaxy and a Ford Ranger Raptor.

All vehicles in this fleet will be identified as being at the service of the Portuguese Red Cross and will act in operations within the scope of Health and Humanitarian Support.

In addition to the transfer of these 10 vehicles, Ford also foresees the possibility of, in a second phase, its dealer network make available to the Portuguese Red Cross the vehicles it has available all over the country to support the activities carried out. at the local level.
