With 639 hp, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-door is “just” one of the most powerful Mercedes-AMG of today. However, it seems that there are some customers for whom the 639 hp “knows little” and it is precisely for them that the Brabus 800.

The famous German tuning company took the original 4-door Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S and started by changing its turbos. After that he advanced to the ECU and applied some of his magic there.

To ensure that the Brabus 800 makes itself heard in all situations, the German preparer offered it a bespoke stainless steel exhaust system with active flaps and titanium/carbon exhaust outlets.

At the end of all these transformations, the M178 (this is the name of the V8 that equips the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-door) saw its power rise from the original 639 hp and 900 Nm to a much more expressive 800 hp and 1000 Nm.

Now, with so much power under the driver's right foot, the Brabus 800 achieves 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9s (0.3s less than the standard version) while the top speed remained at the limited 315 km/h electronically.

If in mechanical terms the changes are far from being discrete, the same cannot be said of the changes in the aesthetic chapter.
