Pick-ups have been on everyone's lips after the Tesla Cybertruck revelation. But until it arrives, this muscular Jeep Gladiator fills us with measures: a Hennessey Maximus 1000 it's a massive addition weapon.
The well-known North American preparer did hers again and married Hellcat's 6.2 V8 Supercharged (very audible in the video) to Gladiator. But 717 hp apparently weren't enough: the engine was "pulled" up to 1000 hp (1014 hp) and the binary is not behind it with 1264 Nm(!).
Numbers that should “shoot” the Maximus 1000 towards the horizon with enormous ease. Even when we notice that its chassis is designed to face the worst off road trails: all-terrain tires (37″), as well as raised suspension (6.5″ lift kit) and King shock absorbers. The front and rear axles as well as the transmission were reinforced to handle the all-powerful V8.

Hennessey will only make 24 copies of the impressive Maximus 1000. Around here, we are still awaiting the arrival of the Jeep Gladiator 3.0 V6 EcoDiesel, the only version available for Europe.
