ABT "laid their hands" on the Audi SQ8 and gave it 650 hp

ABT Sportsline got its hands on the biggest of Audi's SUVs and left it with enough power to tap its foot against rivals like the Lamborghini Urus.

Using as a starting point the SQ8 TFSI version of the German SUV, ABT kept the 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 block that equips this model, but managed to extract more 143 hp of power and 80 Nm of torque.

After all, and after taking the “special treatment” from the German preparer, this SQ8 started to produce an impressive 650 hp of power and 850 Nm of maximum torque, figures that allow it to claim a maximum speed of 270 km/h and comply with the usual acceleration exercise from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8s.

This straight-line performance allows this SQ8 to rival the more powerful RS Q8, which produces 600 hp and 800 Nm as standard and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8s.

But if the performances impress, the exterior look is not far behind. To achieve a more aggressive image ABT has equipped this Audi SQ8 with new bumpers, more prominent air diffusers, a more pronounced front spoiler and 23” wheels with a black finish (matt or gloss).

As for the price, ABT proposes all these improvements — in Germany — for 22 900 euros, to which an additional 3445 euros for painting and installation are added, and of course the purchase price of the model, which starts at 148 971 euros in Portugal.
