Spiritual successor to the first Audi Quattro, it could come equipped with a 650hp bi-turbo V8 engine.
The 30th anniversary of the Audi Quattro is just around the corner and if our predictions are right (they usually are…) the German brand will take advantage of the Frankfurt Motor Show to finally present the production version of the Audi Quattro Concept.
The name Quattro is too precious a legacy for the ring brand not to celebrate this “milestone” with pomp and circumstance. Not only because it is part of your past, but essentially because the Quattro brand is part of your present and will surely be part of your future. Can you imagine Audi without the Quattro system? We neither…
According to the German publication Autozeitung, the next Audi Quattro will have a design even more “stiffer” than the Quattro Concept version you see in the photos. An additional aggressiveness that will also be replicated in the engine, it is said that the 2.5 turbo five-cylinder engine featured in the Audi Quattro Concept will be swapped for a bi-turbo eight-cylinder unit. And just to make your mouth water even more, Autozeitung also talks about discs made of carbo-ceramic and body panels made of carbon. This promises… it really promises!
