The point is: whenever you open the Model 3 boot when the body is wet, the water in the boot lid falls onto the rear window. So far so good, the problem is that this water runs off the glass directly into… inside the trunk.

This is due to the design of the rear window and the fact that there is no gutter that can capture that water. The issue has been reported by several Tesla Model 3 owners, but so far Tesla doesn't seem to have found a solution — there are no software updates to address this issue, apparently…
