The Electric GT Championship only starts in September of next year, but the competition Tesla Model S is already doing circuit tests «on full throttle».
Unknown to many, the Electric GT Championship is an international competition supported by the FIA aimed exclusively at electric models, which is scheduled to start in September 2017. The starting grid will only be Tesla Model S P85+ models, which in this inaugural season will have only the necessary modifications in terms of security and dynamics. The official calendar has not yet been revealed, but it is known that the Electric GT Championship will have stops at some of the reference circuits of the “old continent”: Nürburgring (Germany), Mugello (Italy), Donington Park (UK) and even our Estoril Circuit.
