Thanks to a joint effort by various entities in the region — including PSA Mangualde — the Centro Hospitalar Tondela-Viseu now has an external modular unit for the screening and first analysis of users suspected of having Covid-19.
Built by the company Purever Industries, this structure should come into operation in the next few days and occupies an area of 140 m2.
With a reception and screening area, consultation and treatment offices and even an X-ray room, in this unit it is even possible to build negative pressure rooms.

As mentioned, the creation of this sorting unit resulted from a joint effort between PSA Mangualde and other entities in the region. Among these, some companies that supply the Groupe PSA factory stand out, such as CSMTEC (Electricity, Electronics and Automation) or RedSteel (Metal-mechanics).Subscribe to our newsletter
The previous examples
This is not the first time that PSA Mangualde has joined the fight against Covid-19. Previously, the Groupe PSA production unit located in Beira Alta had already initiated cooperation with the CEiiA and the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu to develop fans and donate protective masks to state entities.
In addition to this cooperation, PSA Mangualde also associated itself with a solidarity project for the construction of visors by a businessman from Seia, who distributed them free of charge to various social and health institutions.
