The new Bentley Flying Spur it's not an absolute novelty — it's been through the pages of Ledger Automobile six months ago — but now we know how much the new British luxury saloon will cost..
Created with the aim of leading the niche of super-luxury saloons, the Flying Spur now arrives in Portugal committed to offering the best of both worlds: the refinement and sophistication of a luxury saloon and the driving experience associated with a sport saloon .
Developed based on the MSB platform, the same as the Porsche Panamera, the Flying Spur is slightly longer (measuring 5.32 m compared to the previous 5.29 m) and has a longer wheelbase (now measuring 3.19 m against the 3.07 m (average) than its predecessor.
Bentley Flying Spur numbers
Underneath the bonnet we find the colossal W12, which carries over from the previous generation, but has been profoundly revised. It maintains the 6.0 l capacity and two turbochargers, but the power is now 635 hp and the torque of 900 Nm. Coupled to this we find an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and an all-wheel drive system.

All of this allows the Bentley Flying Spur to fulfill the traditional 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8s and reach an impressive 333 km/h of top speed. All this despite its weight hovering around 2.4 t!
Technology at the service of dynamics
To live up to the Flying Spur's dynamic pretensions, Bentley bet on a “technological arsenal”. To start with, it resorted to a 48 V electrical system that allowed the integration of active stabilizer bars, a solution pioneered in Bentayga.
Already in absolute debut in the models of the British brand, we find the four-wheel steering. Finally, the all-wheel drive no longer has a fixed distribution as in its predecessor, becoming variable.
How much will it cost?
Now available for order in the national market, the Bentley Flying Spur sees its price start at 283 282 euros , an amount to which the costs of transport, preparation and legalization still have to be added.
As for the delivery of the first units to customers, these should start as early as 2020.
