After the race disputed in Braga, in which the Razão Automobile team achieved its first victory, the C1 Learn & Drive Trophy is back on the 20th and 21st of August at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and brings a reinforced list of entries.

While 33 teams were present in the first competition, the round in Portimão will feature 37 teams, with the internationalization of duels on the track with the registration of two Belgian teams in the competition played on the circuit where a few months ago we were able to watch the 8 Hours of Portimao.

About this competition, André Marques, responsible for Motor Sponsor, began by saying: “The restrictions we still live in continue to create difficulties, but we feel that the C1 Trophy has not only conquered its place in the motorsport panorama in Portugal, it continues to be an attractive project capable of attracting many participants. This list of entries is demonstrative of that”.

Regarding this list of entries, André Marques also took the opportunity to praise “the tremendous organizational capacity of Ricardo Leitão”, recalling: “He was responsible for preparing the event and, if we have almost 40 cars in Portimão, we owe a lot to his dedication” .

emotion will not be lacking

In total, the little C1s will race for twelve hours, however the action starts long before the start of the first race, held on 21 August, with the “C1 Eurocup — 6H + 6H Portimão” program starting on Friday , on the 20th, with private training.

Upon arrival in Portimão, the PRO category is led by Artlaser by Gianfranco, with teams such as VLB Racing, C1 Racing Team, Team Rubrica and Paint & Go with that leadership in their sights. Also in this category, the highlights were the return of the G-Tech, IDS and Silver Team teams and the debut of Clínica Médica Jardim and Skywalker Management.

In the AM category, big clashes are planned, everything to try to “steal” the leadership from the Razão Automóvel team which, in turn, will try to repeat the success achieved in Braga. Among the "freshmen" in this category are Sieger Motorsport drivers and the role of returning teams falls to Caetanovich Racing and 888 Motorsport.
