The idea of ​​the German brand is to take advantage of the 125+ industrial 3D printers it owns to produce fans.

For now, Volkswagen is still testing materials and supply chains, however, a spokesperson for the German brand has already stated: “the production of medical equipment is new for us. However, once we understand the requirements and receive the drawings of the parts to manufacture, we can get started.”

The same spokesman also added that the German construction company is in close contact with several governments in order to ascertain the needs. At the same time, he also reported that "some prototype components have already been 3D printed at Skoda facilities."
