The annual gathering that brings together drivers and fans of cars from the four corners of the world, the Caramulo Motorfestival, once again has the mythical Caramulo Historic Rampa as one of its main points of interest.

This year, the competition will again have a record number of participants, with the presence of a total of 70 historic, classic and competition cars having already been confirmed, in the Speed ​​and Regularity categories.

In addition to these cars, confirmed at the Caramulo Motorfestival 2018 is also the presence of a trio of Ferraris from the 50s, as never seen before, guaranteeing the organization of the event — a Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta Touring from 1950, a Ferrari 195 Inter Vignale from 1951 and a 1955 Ferrari 500 Mondial.

From Balboni to Villas-Boas…

Among the confirmed riders is Italian Valentino Balboni, Chief Test Driver for Lamborghini since 1968 and brand ambassador for Sant'agata Bolognese, as well as Cyril Neveu, the French driver who has won the Paris-Dakar five times, including, the first edition of the test, in 1979.

As for the Portuguese participation in the Caramulo Motorfestival 2018, the best known figures will be Pedro Lamy, a Portuguese driver who has raced — and scored — in disciplines as diverse as Formula 3000, Formula 1, DTM, 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Nürburgring , in addition to the football coach and passionate about classic and sports cars, André Villas-Boas.
