Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Volkswagen T-Roc Convertible now arrives on the Portuguese market, occupying the place vacated by the Golf Cabrio in the Volkswagen range.
Developed on the same platform as the “normal” T-Roc (the MQB), the T-Roc Cabrio features a 2+2 configuration and uses a canvas hood.
It is made up of three layers, has an electric drive and the opening and closing operation can be carried out up to 30 km/h or at a distance of 1.5 m using the key with the keyless system.
Inside, identical to that of the T-Roc produced in Palmela, we find the “Cockpit Digital” (standard on the R-Line version) and the navigation system “Discover Media”. It has an integrated eSIM, offering a wide range of “We Connect” and “We Connect Plus” functions and services. The sound system is by “beats” and has 12 columns.
Two engines, both gasoline
For now, the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio will be available with two engines: the 1.0 TSI with 115 hp and 200 Nm and the 1.5 TSI with 150 hp and 250 Nm. The first is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox while the second it can also be paired with the seven-speed DSG gearbox.
