Pão de Forma featured at the II International Volkswagen Festival in Corroios

Anonim

The realization of the II International Volkswagen Festival is the ideal occasion to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Type 2, affectionately known as Pão de Forma. The brand's iconic van would earn the name Transporter in subsequent generations, and all generations will be present at the Festival.

The Volkswagen International Festival is in its second edition, after the huge success of the first, where 320 vehicles were exhibited from the north and south of Portugal, as well as from Germany, Holland and the United Kingdom.

The celebration of the 70th anniversary of Pão de Forma creates expectations for an even greater participation. During the Festival there will be several contests that will choose the oldest form of bread or the one that came from farther away. Among the rarest and most emblematic will be models coming from the PSP museum park.

The event will not only highlight the past, as we will be able to watch the demonstration of the new Crafter parking autonomously.

The Volkswagen International Festival is taking place next weekend, between 21 and 23 July, at Quinta da Marialva Urban Park, in Corroios.

The event will feature a street food area, supported by Transporter of several generations, a camping space, fully equipped for those who come with a motorhome version, and concerts (Festival program in detail at the end of the article).

On the last day there will be a parade where all vehicles are invited to participate, thus ending the Festival.

For those who want to participate with their own vehicle, you can register here.
