The Mazda RX-Vision Concept won the “Most Beautiful Car of the Year” award at the 31st edition of the International Automobile Festival.Ikuo Maeda, Mazda's International Design Head, received the award on Tuesday night, along with Kevin Rice, Mazda Europe Design Director, Julien Montousse, Mazda North America Design Director, and Norihito Iwao , designer of Mazda.

Side by side with the Bentley Exp10 Speed 6, the Peugeot Fractal and the Porsche Mission E, the Mazda RX-Vision ended up standing out and sharing the podium with the Porsche. After unveiling at the Tokyo Motor Show, the Mazda RX-Vision hit the market as “the challenging streak” of the Hiroshima-based brand. The new RX-Vision concept integrates the entire KODO design philosophy – The Soul of Motion.
The Mazda RX-Vision concept is yet another model that pays homage to Mazda's vast heritage of front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports models. The compact nature of the rotating mechanics makes it possible to adopt solutions such as its very low bonnet. Fans of the brand will certainly be looking forward to seeing this concept hit the production lines.
