Bentley Bentayga is getting ready to be the brand's first model with a diesel engine.

With a 608hp twin-turbo W12 block, 608hp, four-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission, the Bentley Bentayga is currently the fastest SUV in the world. Despite the 3250 kg gross weight, the British model is able to accelerate up to 100km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 300km/h. Even so, the British brand has already confirmed that it intends to expand the range of engines, and according to the latest rumors, the new Bentayga could adopt the 4.0 liter V8 TDI bi-turbo block from the new Audi SQ7 – the most powerful diesel engine in the market.

Apparently, Bentley will not be content to match the values of the SQ7 and will want to surpass the 435 hp of power and 900 Nm of maximum torque (available from 1,000 rpm!) of the German SUV. Furthermore, a Speed version of the current 6 liter W12 block is another possibility, while a hybrid version has not yet been discarded either. The new Bentayga is already in the testing phase and launch is scheduled for next year.
