Audi Q8 wins not one but two plug-in hybrids

Following the electrification trend that has become the norm in the Audi range, the Q8 also received not one, but two plug-in hybrid versions, thus giving birth to the Audi Q8 TFSI and.

As with the Q7 TFSI e, the new Q8 TFSI and “marries” the 3.0 TFSI V6 of 340hp and 450Nm with an electric motor. In the most powerful version, the Q8 55 TFSI and quattro , the maximum combined power rises to 381 hp and 600 Nm. Q8 60 TFSI and quattro , this value rises to 462 hp and 700 Nm.

Powering the electric motor is a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 17.8 kWh. Capable of being recharged in about two and a half hours in a 7.4 kW wallbox, this battery allows autonomy in 100% electric mode of up to 47 km (WLTP cycle). The only drawback is that it led to the loss of 100 liters of luggage capacity (it is now 505 l).
