Originally unveiled in 2017, the long-awaited (and already somewhat delayed) Mercedes-AMG Project ONE continues its development
Having seen its development delayed due to the difficulties of adapting a Formula 1 engine to the demands of road use (compliance with emission regulations was one of the problems), Project ONE now seems closer to seeing the light of day .
According to the German brand, several pre-production units of the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE began to be tested on the circuit, at the brand's track in Immendingen, this being another step towards the arrival of the German hypersportscar in production.
Maximum power
Another novelty about the new testing phase that Project ONE has started is the fact that, for the first time, project leaders have allowed the prototypes to run at full power, ie all 735 kW or 1000 hp previously announced .

In addition, Mercedes-AMG has already made it clear what the next stage of testing will be: attacking the famous Nürburgring.
Given this confirmation, an immediate question arises: will the German brand be preparing to attack the record belonging to Lamborghini for the fastest production model in the “Green Inferno”.
