It was supposed to have been unveiled in Geneva, the Covid-19 pandemic made this not possible, but by no means did the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA it stopped making itself known and… enchanted.
Limited to just 500 units (split between the Giulia GTA and the Giulia GTAm), the Italian model has now seen the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo develop special decorations.
To create these decorations, the designers of Centro Stile Alfa Romeo looked at Alfa Romeo's history and took inspiration from old competition models from the transalpine brand.
After the technique, the style
Therefore, we have decorations that evoke several models of competition from the Italian brand. Still about these decorations, according to Alfa Romeo they have limited availability.

Among the decorative elements that stand out the most are the traditional numbers on the doors and, in some cases, elements of the Alfa Romeo logo, such as the cross, the snake and the Italian flag.
Still in an historical evocation, the front painted in yellow in some of the decorations recalls a solution formerly used to distinguish the pilots participating in the same race.
Another of the novelties brought by these special decorations was the fact that, for the first time, we saw the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and GTAm painted in colors other than the traditional red.
Finally, Alfa Romeo also decided to create a series of protective covers for when the Giulia GTA rests in the garage. The most curious thing is that these have the same decoration as the model.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and GTAm
Inspired by the 1965 Giulia GTA, the current Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA is presented with the same 2.9 Bi-Turbo V6 as the Giulia Quadrifoglio but in a more powerful variant, with 540 hp.
Here are the specific protective covers designed for the Giulia GTA and GTAm.
Produced using ultra-light materials, the Giulia GTA is 100 kg lighter than the Giulia Quadrifoglio, which is why it achieves a weight/power ratio of 2.82 kg/hp.
As for the Giulia GTAm, this one is even more hardcore with details like the roll-bar in place of the rear seats, the absence of rear door panels or a space for the placement of helmets and a fire extinguisher.
It's the price?
As for the price, Alfa Romeo adds that the Giulia GTA has a price in Europe, before taxes, from 143 thousand euros . In the case of the Giulia GTAm, this value rises to the 147 thousand euros.
For now, it is not known how much the two models will cost in Portugal.
