The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk are the pinnacles of performance among FCA SUVs (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) — true heavy weapons.
In the Italian corner, we have the Stelvio Quadrifoglio equipped with a 2.9 V6 twinturbo 510 HP and 600 Nm , transmitted to the four wheels through an automatic eight-speed transmission. It passes 1900 kg in weight, but declares only 3.8s from 0 to 100 km/h and… 283 km/h (in an SUV).
In the American corner, a bruiser. The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk resorts to the immense 6.2 Supercharged V8 Hellcat, with 717 hp (!) and a vast 838 Nm. Like the Stelvio, the transmission of these immense numbers is in charge of an automatic transmission with eight speeds and four-wheel drive. It's over 2500 kg, but humiliated by the power of the engine: just 3.7s from 0 to 100, and 290 km/h of top speed.
