The quality of Jaguar Land Rover products has grown model after model. The materials used were never a problem, as the quality of the assembly deserved some criticism.
On the Range Rover Velar — the unit we tested was already a few thousand kilometers long — there is no criticism of the assembly.
You travel well inside. The front seat occupants are provided with a great deal of space, the seats are very comfortable and the sound insulation is exemplary.
A fact that won't ignore the smooth running of the 3.0 liter V6 Bi-turbo engine, with 300 hp of power and 700 Nm of maximum torque. In the rear seats, despite the exterior dimensions, the available space is just enough. A small sacrifice on behalf of that carved side.
As for the chassis, it only deserves praise, offering a generous dose of comfort and rigorous dynamic handling. Is the Range Rover Velar therefore more than a whim? Definitely. It's not just design, there's substance.
