The Spanish network was dedicated to creating illegal replicas of Ferrari and Lamborghini.

Spanish police last week dismantled a network dedicated to turning cars like the Ford Probe, Peugeot 406 or Toyota MR2 into imitations of Ferrari and Lamborghini models. The cars were later sold through second-hand sales portals on the internet, for values around 40 thousand euros.

This workshop located in Sils, a town near Girona, was discovered by Spanish police in a replica seen in Benidorm a few months earlier. According to authorities, this group used designs, molds and logos from Ferrari and Lamborghini, without any authorization from the brands.

In addition, police discovered several tools for marijuana cultivation on the premises. In this operation, three people were arrested and 14 cars were seized, in different stages of transformation.
