Porsche 911 GT3 RS with the charm of competition models from the 70s… Now it's possible.
It is often said that “imitation is the sincerest form of praise”, and that is the only way to understand the work of Californians at Skepple Inc, which consists of adding a classic and timeless look to current models. Nicknamed the Pink Pig, the 917/20 Coupé was the fastest car during the qualifying session for the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans, although according to Porsche, it had never been tested before the final race. In the main race, with Reinhold Jöst at the wheel, the “pink pig” was much of the race fighting for the top places, but an accident near the end forced the withdrawal of the mythical model endurance race.
Returning to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, to achieve this worn look, Skepple Inc uses a self-adhesive vinyl application on the bodywork. Pink Pig, or is it, Rusty Pig?
