Dacia Jogger. Seven-seater crossover already has its release date

A few days before the start of the Munich Motor Show, Dacia has just announced its latest innovation: a family crossover with five- and seven-seat versions that will be called the Jogger.

With a (digital) presentation scheduled for the next 3rd of September, the Jogger arrives to occupy the space of Logan MCV and Lodgy and will be one of the biggest news in this edition of the Germanic event.

Along with confirming the name of this crossover, the Renault Group company also released a teaser that already allows us a glimpse of how the rear luminous signature will be and the overall shape of this model, which will have its versatility as one of its greatest assets.

Halfway between a “rolled up pants” van and an SUV, this crossover — which uses the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance's CMF-B platform, in other words, the same as the Dacia Sandero — will feature several typical elements of the models more adventurous, such as plastic bumpers and wheel arches and roof bars.

Dacia has not yet revealed any information about the engines of this model, but we can expect versions with a gasoline engine and one LPG. The most recent rumors are that this model will have at least one hybrid option.

Together with the Bigster, a prototype that Dacia showed a few months ago and which will form the basis of a seven-seater SUV to be launched in 2022, the Jogger is the second of three new models that the Renault Group brand will introduce by 2025.

As mentioned above, the Jogger digital presentation is scheduled for the next 3rd of September, but the first public appearance will only take place on the 6th of September, at the Munich Motor Show, by the “hand” of Denis Le Vot, the general director of the Dacia.
