1st Married or in love? Borrowed time!
Come on…It's like a Formula 1 and it's there at home looking at us. Inside, we feel cooler than ever – the steering wheel is perfect, there are 3 high definition screens in front of us that give us a panoramic view of the track. The pc has a high-end Intel i7, 16gb of RAM, the best graphics card money can buy and the best SSD disk on the market. The sound comes from a 5.1 speaker system properly integrated into the body of this formula and promises to put us at the center of all the action. To power all this, there's even a 1200 Watt source. The girlfriend/woman take care of herself!
But where the relationship ends is when they realize that where real Brembo brake shoes should be, there really are real Brembo brake shoes! Not to mention carbon discs and real F1 tyres. This is where things get ugly, we start to sleep inside the simulator and during the night we put our hand over one of the rear tires, to feel the touch of the rubber on the tracks - by this time the woman has left the house and the cat he ran away to hunt rats because he hadn't eaten for three days.
2nd Friends are the first to run away
Some out of envy, others because they think we're an aberration: “He bought a simulator for 105,000 euros. He's a computer freak, he spends his life at home clinging to the wheel.” Then there are the friends of “brutal! let's do it for a while”. We can always take things to the extreme – strict diet, not drinking alcohol, doing away with night out and with a job as well because being a pilot is something to occupy us full time. Okay, alcohol just a little bit of the deserved bottle of champagne whenever we step up to the podium. It's that moment of glory, in which the dog looks at us celebrating alone on a chair.
4th By the way…is there anyone out there who has 105,000 euros that you can lend? We swear that we make an F1 team online and that the first 150 thousand euros in advertising revenue are for the investor! It is possible, there is a friend of a friend of ours who says he knows a cousin of a brother of a friend of his who did this and it was the right investment. 105 thousand euros? Nobody?…
