TOP 5: the best Porsche prototypes

With the help of its exterior design director, Peter Varga, Porsche has brought together the best «concept cars» produced by the German brand.

Over the 86-year history of Porsche, there have been several prototypes presented by the Stuttgart brand. If some ended up making it to production lines, like the 918 Spyder, others, like the Porsche 928-4, never saw the light of day.

In yet another episode of Porsche's TOP 5 series, the German brand has reduced its long list of prototypes to a handful of models. The video starts with the classic Typ 754 «T7» , precursor of 911, passing through 989 Concept , the four-door saloon we've already talked about here.

Third on the list, an unprecedented model shown here for the first time, the Cayenne Cabriolet Concept , followed by the «super hybrid» 918 Spyder . The first place on the list was given to the recent Mission E , the first 100% electric sports car from the German brand, which already has the green light to go into production.
