Jaguar F-Type in depth in the hands of ex-F1 drivers

Martin Brundle, Christian Danner and Justin Bell were the chosen Jaguar drivers to test the two prototypes for the brand's next sports car, the Jaguar F-Type.

They arrived by helicopter, received a briefing from Mike Cross, Jaguar's chief engineer, and then accelerated. Martin Brundle, Christian Danner and Justin Bell were the “ex-F1” chosen to test the dynamics of the Jaguar F-Type. Out of doors, the model was delivered for the appreciation of connoisseurs and connoisseurs and apparently this young Jaguar promises! With two versions available for testing – F-Type S and F-Type V8 S – the main objective was to test their capabilities on track and road. Both the F-Type S and the F-Type V8 S are built in aluminum and feature advanced technology – active exhaust system and a suspension with Adaptive Dynamic System. Find out all the details of the F-Type already published by RazãoAutomóvel here.

These two prototypes were driven on the British Snetterton 300 circuit and on the Norfolk roads surrounding the track, and these former F1 drivers were the first “civilians” to test the limits of this Jaguar. The model will go on sale in mid-2013 and for 2014 we can count on the coupé, until then, only with hair in the wind will the F-Type drive. Nothing against it, because the sound of its engines is a symphony, even for the most demanding ears.
