The next Citroën C4 and C5 could integrate key elements of the French brand's new design line and move to the SUV team.
Strong personality and modern style. That's how the new Citroën C3 is defined, recently presented by the French brand. The colourful, irreverent and avant-garde design, starting with the Citroën C4 Cactus, will now serve as inspiration for the new Citroën C4 and C5, which will adopt an approach and positioning very different from what we were used to seeing in the brand.SEE ALSO: Know in detail the «revolutionary» suspension of Citroen
According to Xavier Peugeot, Product Director for the French brand,
There will be a new C4, but it won't be a conventional model. It is possible to change the image of a model and we can do it with C4. Maybe we can change your silhouette.
Asked about the Citroën C5, Peugeot says that changing the model's designation could be part of the plans, placing it in the D-segment side by side with luxury proposals. Pierre Monferrini, responsible for the production of the brand's new models, guarantees Citroën's presence in the aforementioned segment, but with a product that is completely out of the ordinary.
