Hyundai named "Brand of the Year 2018" at Red Dot Awards

THE Hyundai was awarded the Red Dot Awards as "Brand of the Year 2018" . The South Korean brand was distinguished by the quality of the design, competence in brand management and by the innovative design solutions , having been to most successful brand in this year's edition of the prestigious awards.

The honorary title "Red Dot: Brand of the Year 2018" came to join the five distinctions already achieved this year in the Communication Design category. The awards won by Hyundai enshrine creative and innovative design solutions.

The Red Dot Awards are one of the most prestigious design awards in the world. THE ceremony official award ceremony will take place at the October 26th in Berlin , in Germany.

New record at Red Dot awards

In August the Hyundai thus breaking the record for Red Dot awards in the brand's history. Altogether the South Korean brand won four Red Dots and three “Red Dot: Best of the Best” . The awards were given in the categories “Retail Sales Design”, “Sound Design”, “Spatial Communication”, “Film and Animation and Interface Design” and “User Experience”.

The awarded projects were Solati Moving Hotel, Hyundai Pavilion, Genesis Gangnam, Genesis Sound Design, Pioneer Film and Safety Hologram. THE Hyundai Executive Vice President and Marketing Director , Wonhong Cho, stated that the distinction now achieved is proof that the brand is on the right path , representing an important milestone for Hyundai's brand image.
