After being voted European Car of the Year, the new Volvo XC40 continues to make its presence felt, this time as one of the protagonists of the new Tomb Raider movie , alongside actress Alicia Vikander, who dresses the character of the mythical Lara Croft.
The two young stars have in common the fact that they are Swedish and have recently been distinguished. Vikander won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar last year for her performance in The Danish Girl while Volvo's brand new SUV won the European Car of the Year 2018 award.
In the film, Lara Croft will investigate the mystery surrounding the disappearance of her father and for that she will have the help of the new Volvo XC40.
